I’m so excited to announce this next giveaway, as I have been working on something special for awhile now!! This go around, I wanted to do something special… so I bought a blank canvas from EDgun West… a 250mm 5.56 / .22 Leshiy 2, and then started thinking...
Charles from
RooksKoatings, a fan of the channel, reached out to introduce himself (and his new Cerakote business)… and just like that, the planning of a special EDgun Leshiy began.
Cerakoting a gun involves several key steps to ensure a durable and attractive finish. Doing this on an airgun like the Leshiy 2 involves an incredibly skillful hand with a high attention to detail… why… well, it’s simple really… an airgun is literally airtight, and with the Leshiy 2… that’s 4500 PSI / 300 BAR of air! A firearm is mechanically actually super simple, and as a result has quite a bit of wiggle room. Airguns don’t have that luxury.
I worked with Charles from RooksKoating whom not only had the skills and attention to detail, but the imagination to take my simple instructions of “I want an old school special forces tiger stripe pattern” and come up with this…
Here’s a behind the scenes look at the process Charles took…
First, the gun is thoroughly cleaned and degreased to remove any dirt, oil, or other contaminants.
Then, any surface imperfections are addressed by sanding or polishing.
Next, a base coat of cerakote is applied to the gun, followed by any additional colors or designs as desired. The gun is then baked at high temperatures to cure the cerakote and create a durable finish.
Finally, the gun is reassembled and inspected for quality and consistency… and because I’m insane… I’m gonna give this thing away!
Want a chance to win this bad boy? It’s the same simple rules as previous giveaways… Snag ANYTHING from the merch store, and you get a single entry. I’ve added a new t-shirt, and a couple lower cost items like a Sticker Pack and Poster!
BONUS Opportunity: Buy a T-Shirt, Hoodie or Hat before April 5th and get a bonus 2nd entry!
I’ll be pulling a winner June 20th at 12pm CST. For full rules/details, go here: https://www.edgunleshiy.com/edgun-leshiy-limited-edition-merch-and-leshiy-2-giveaway/
